What order types are available?
Predict Pro supports two order types: Market and Limit orders. Limit orders are good-till-canceled (GTC), meaning they remain active until filled, canceled, or the event resolves. Market orders fill immediately and do not rest on the order book.
Order type | How it works |
Market | Fills immediately at the best available price; any unfilled portion is canceled |
Limit | Rests on the order book at your chosen price until filled or canceled |
What is a Post-Only order?
A Post-Only order guarantees your order is placed as a maker — it rests on the order book and is never matched immediately as a taker. If your order would fill immediately at the current market price, it is automatically canceled instead.
Use Post-Only when you want to ensure you always pay the lower maker fee rate.
What contract types are available?
Predict Pro offers the following contract types:
Contract type | How it works |
Moneyline | Pick the outright winner of an event |
Spread | Pick whether a team wins by more or fewer than a set margin |
Total (Over/Under) | Pick whether a combined stat (e.g., total points) finishes over or under a set number |
Player Prop | Pick the outcome of an individual player’s stat in a single game |
Range | Pick whether a numeric outcome falls within a specific range (e.g., a crypto price at a point in time) |
Leagues | Pick a season-long or tournament result (e.g., championship winner, MVP) |
How are contracts priced?
Every contract is priced between $0 and $1.00, reflecting the market’s real-time estimate of how likely an outcome is.
A Yes contract priced at $0.75 implies a 75% probability. Prices move based on trading activity. Increased demand for Yes pushes the price up, and increased demand for No pushes it down.
When the event resolves, each contract settles at $1.00 if your position matches the outcome, or $0 if it does not.
