The App now offers Argentine residents a zero-fee* and localized method to top up their ARS Wallet using their bank accounts with the DEBIN network. DEBIN is a quick and secure payment channel that’s trusted by financial institutions in Argentina.

How to Set Up your ARS Fiat Wallet?

  1. Select Fiat Wallet via the Super App Menu

  2. Tap + Set Up New Currency

  3. Select Argentine Peso

  4. Read and accept the Fiat Wallet Terms and Conditions

  5. Provide your CUIT/CUIL* (Single Tax Identification Code)

  6. Provide your residential address

  7. Wait for verification of the provided information

  8. Link your bank account

What is CUIT/CUIL ?

CUIT/CUIL Tax ID is an 11-digit numerical code (00 - 0000 0000 - 0). If you have entered your CUIT/CUIL during the KYC onboarding process, you will not be required to provide it again to set up your ARS Fiat Wallet.

Why do I need to link my bank account?

Linking your bank account enables to protect you from fraudulent activities. We only accept funds that come from bank accounts that are in your name and match the name associated with your App account. Any funds from a bank account that does not match will be rejected and refunded.

I have been asked to provide additional information/documents for linking my bank account. How do I proceed?

You might be asked to provide additional information/documents (e.g., proof of payment or bank statement) to match your bank account to the records provided to us. Please note that the documents need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Issued in the past 90 days

  2. Clearly shows the bank account holder’s full name, account number, and the bank name

These criteria also apply if the funds are coming from a joint account. You may be requested to provide additional records to ensure that you are one of the account holders.

Please allow one to two business days for our team to review your document. Once it has been verified that the bank account belongs to you, your funds will be automatically credited to your ARS Wallet.

What happens if my bank account is rejected?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept funds from bank accounts that have failed verification. Any funds deposited from a rejected bank account will be refunded to the originating bank account.

How many bank accounts can I link to my ARS Wallet?

Five (5) bank accounts can be linked at a time, regardless of their status (i.e., Pending, Verified, Declined). You can make deposits and withdrawals to and from your ARS Fiat Wallet using successfully linked bank accounts.

How do I deposit funds?

  1. Tap Transfer > Deposit

  2. Select Argentine Peso (ARS)

  3. Enter the amount you want to deposit, select your linked bank account, and tap Confirm

  4. If 2FA is enabled, you will be prompted to enter your 2FA code

  5. You will have 72 hours to log in to your bank account and confirm the deposit. Otherwise, the deposit will expire and the transfer will not be sent to us.

  6. You will receive a push notification once the deposit has been processed

Note: Failed fiat withdrawals will show as ‘Expired’ in the transaction history. This is likely a result of insufficient funds, the deposit not being confirmed, or a name mismatch.

Does charge any fees for processing deposits? does not charge any fees for processing deposits. However, your bank may charge fees for processing payments. Please check with your banking institution.

Can I use more than one bank account to make deposits?

Yes, you may link up to five (5) bank accounts to your ARS Wallet.

Do you accept funds from third-party payment processors?

No, we do not accept funds from third-party payment processors (e.g., Wise Inc.). Please use a bank account that is in your own name.

What can I do with the funds in my ARS Wallet?

You can purchase crypto using the funds in your wallet, or sell your crypto and convert it to ARS.
