Before you start
To complete the registration process, you must have access to these items:
A hardware security key (Only Yubikey 5 and BIO series supported)
If you do not have a hardware security key, you may purchase one directly from https://www.yubico.com/
A web browser (We recommend Google Chrome. Safari, Edge are supported)
A mobile phone (Android and IOS supported)
Crypto.com Custody account activation
Your account has been created by the Crypto.com Custody team. Please check your inbox for an email from “[email protected]”.
Proceed to activate your account. You must have a FIDO-2 compliant security key or a biometric authenticator to complete this process.
Set up the required security factors to secure your account.
Create a strong password with a mixture of letters, numbers and symbols.
Register your FIDO-2 compliant security key.
If you have not enrolled in your Yubikey, please enroll it first. See below for an example on how to conduct enrollment on the Chrome browser below.
Please follow the below instructions carefully.
To ensure high security, only hardware based Yubikey are supported.
DO NOT USE passkeys like chrome/icloud/hello windows.
Please contact our client services team if you have any questions or concerns.
Click ‘Save another way’
Select ‘Use a phone, tablet or security key’.
Plug in your Yubikey and tap/touch it

Your account setup is now completed. Close the page and proceed to the next section.
User Registration and Invitation Acceptance
After completing the setup of your login credentials, you must activate your custody account by logging in, and setting up your Time-based One-time Password (“TOTP”).
Click on the invitation link shared by our Onboarding / Client Services team.
After accepting invite, you should be redirected to the Custody application
If you are not redirected automatically, you can navigate to it using the link: https://custody.crypto.com
Login with your username.
Enter the password you created at setup.
Setup TOTP by scanning the QR code with a mobile app such as Google Authenticator.
Setup TOTP by scanning the QR code with a mobile app such as Google Authenticator.
Backup the secure code.
Enter the verification code retrieved from your authenticator app after scanning.
Important Notice: Securely backup your alpha-numeric secure code.
It is essential that you securely back up and store your alphanumeric secure code in a safe location. Please note that this code is the only means of accessing your account in the event of a loss. As a security measure, no one else can recover your account if the code is misplaced or forgotten. Ensuring its protection is your responsibility.
If setup is successful, you will be prompted to enter the 6 digit code from your authenticator app.
Re-enter the TOTP which you just setup.
If login is successful, you will be greeted by the main landing page.
Once we confirm your setup is complete, our operation team will work on creating a
dedicated Vault for your organisation, please wait for further instructions from us.
If you have been invited to a vault, they will appear on the landing page. Proceed to click “Accept Invitation”.
Once accepted, Vault status will be updated to accepted.
Close your window and confirm your completion of registration via the email from our Onboarding / Client Services team.

Our Onboarding / Client Services team informs you that you have been added into the specific vault.
Web
You can login to the web version via:
New Hampshire Trust: https://custody.crypto.com/us/ui
Singapore or Malta Custodian: https://custody.crypto.com/sg/ui
Important!: Bookmark your respective link to minimize risks.
Mobile
Open your “Crypto.com Custody” app. Allow permissions for the App to push notifications.
Sign in with your Okta credential and complete the verification with your Yubikey.
Create a 6-digit passcode and enter it again to confirm.
Finally, input Custody TOTP to complete login (Retrieve Custody TOTP from your Authenticator App, set up in Section "User Registration and Invitation Acceptance")

Congratulations! You have completed the setup!
Please proceed to reply to our Client Services to inform them of your completion so that your roles may be provisioned as per the access provisioning document submitted at onboarding.
Appendix - Reset MFA
You might be asked or have asked to reset your Yubikey, in order to register another one. To do so, please follow the below steps:
Navigate to https://auth.custody.crypto.com
You will be asked to sign-in, please do so with your username and password.
Set up the required security factors to secure your account. Register your FIDO-2 compliant security key.
If you have not enrolled in your Yubikey, please enroll in it first. Take Chrome as an example below.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions
Account and onboarding
I have set up a password but not my Yubikey, how do I complete my setup?
To set up your Yubikey, simply login to your Crypto.com Custody account at https://custody.crypto.com. You will be prompted to enter your password and set up a Yubikey if one isn’t registered already.
Your registration / reset password link is no longer valid error when using an invitation link.
To better secure your account, links are single use and cannot be reused. If you have already registered/reset your account, you can simply login normally at our homepage https://custody.crypto.com If you have not completed a registration/reset, please reach out to our support team.
I have lost my Yubikey or Password.
If you have lost your registered Yubikey or password, please kindly contact our support team. To better protect your account, further verification are required to reset a lost Yubikey
