Crypto.com offers a AED Wallet which can be topped up via the local bank transfer network using user's bank accounts. UAE phone number users are eligible for the AED Wallet.
How to set up my AED Wallet?
To be able to deposit AED via local bank transfers, you first need to set up the AED Wallet.
In the Crypto.com App home screen, tap on the ≡ Menu button > Fiat Wallet, OR tap Accounts > Fiat Wallet, OR tap Deposit > Fiat
Tap on the “+ Set Up New Currency” button and select UAE Dirham (AED)
Review and accept the AED Wallet Terms & Conditions
Tap on “Continue” to proceed
Submit and verify your residential address if required. You may be requested to upload a proof of address.
Upon successful setup of the AED Wallet, you can use the provided deposit information to deposit AED from your bank account via local bank transfers. Refer to AED Deposit via Local Bank Transfers FAQ for more details.
