How do I top up my Crypto.com Card with a non-custodial Web3 wallet?
First, connect your non-custodial wallet to your Crypto Wallet in the Crypto.com App via the Cronos or Cronos zkEVM Chain.
Visit the Cronos website or Cronos zkEVM website and follow the steps below:
1. Click Connect | 2. Select the wallet | 3. Click Link |
4. Enter your Crypto.com App Wallet Address for your selected top-up token and the relevant chain (see details here).
Click Link and sign the transaction using your wallet. | 5. Once linked, you’ll see the linked non-custodial and Crypto.com App wallet addresses | 6. From the Crypto.com App home screen, go to Card on the bottom navigation and tap the ‘card’ icon on the top-right corner of the screen. Toggle on Top Up With Cronos EVM/zkEVM Chain. |
Once connected, you will be able to transfer funds from your non-custodial wallet to your Crypto Wallet, which can then be used to top up your Crypto.com Card. See the ‘How do I initiate a top-up?’ section for more details.
How do I initiate a top-up?
Follow these steps to initiate a Card top-up from your non-custodial wallet:
1. Visit the Cronos website or Cronos zkEVM website and click Top Up | 2. Select the top-up token and input the amount |
3. If your transaction is successful, the funds will appear in your Crypto.com App Crypto Wallet. You will also receive a notification on the website. | 4. Your funds will be converted automatically to your respective Cash Account currency and you will be able to view it from the Card tab. This may take a few minutes. |
Which tokens can I use for top-ups?
You can use USDC, ETH, and any token that can be swapped to USDC or ETH.
Can I top up my Crypto.com Card with tokens other than USDC or ETH?
Yes, if you initiate a top-up with tokens that are not supported, the system will automatically convert them to USDC or ETH first. The tokens can then be converted automatically to Cash when it gets topped up to your Card account. Please note that additional fees and slippage may apply during the swap.
What happens if my top-up fails?
If a transaction fails, you will see an error message with instructions on how to resubmit your request. Ensure you have enough funds and gas fees in your wallet before trying again.
Why is my top-up blocked?
The top-up limit is US$10,000 worth of tokens per transaction. If you’re performing a token swap, the issue may be due to high price impact or slippage tolerance. This can happen if the market liquidity is low or if the token price fluctuates significantly. To resolve this, try using a different token for the top-up or try again later.
My funds were deducted, but the top-up is not reflected. What should I do?
First, check the transaction status on the Cronos EVM Explorer to confirm its success. If you cannot find the transaction record, check if the funds are still in your non-custodial wallet.

How long does it take for a top-up to reflect on my card?
Once the transaction is successfully processed on-chain, you will receive a notification in the Crypto.com App once your Card has been topped up. This may take a few minutes.
