What Should I do if I receive a Deposit I Don’t Recognise or Expect?

Updated this week

If you unexpectedly receive a very small amount of crypto from an unknown sender, the deposit may be a dusting attack.

You can choose to take no action if the deposit is already in your Crypto Wallet.

Alternatively, you can choose to remove the pending deposit if you live in a country that has implemented the Travel Rule. See the 'How do I remove a deposit of a small amount?' section for more details.

How do I remove a pending deposit of a small amount?

This applies to users in countries that have implemented the Travel Rule. (This feature is available in app version 3.210.10 or later. )

1. Go to the Accounts tab and tap the Submit Now button on the crypto deposit pop-up at the bottom of the screen

2. A list of deposits that require additional information under the Travel Rule will be shown. If there are pending deposits below US$0.01, you will see the Manage button. Tap it to remove any pending deposits below US$0.01.

Please note that deposit removals are irreversible and the funds cannot be recovered once the removal is complete.
