What is the Satoshi Test?
Satoshi Test is a one-time verification process that confirms you control a non-custodial wallet address. To verify ownership, you send a test transfer from the wallet to your Crypto Wallet in the Crypto.com App.
In accordance with the Travel Rule, Crypto.com is required to verify ownership of non-custodial wallets for users in certain jurisdictions.
Who needs to verify their wallet?
The verification requirements depend on your jurisdiction and transaction volume:
Singapore users: You are required to verify ownership if your total monthly withdrawals to non-custodial wallets exceed S$20,000. This quota is shared across all non-custodial wallets linked to your account.
EU users: You are required to verify ownership of your non-custodial wallet if your cumulative transactions to the wallet exceed €1,000.
How do I verify my wallet?
To verify your wallet:
On the Verification required screen, tap Satoshi Test
Copy your Crypto Wallet address
Open your non-custodial wallet
Select the network specified in the test to transfer assets on
Paste your Crypto Wallet address and enter the deposit amount specified in the test
Send the test transfer and wait for on-chain confirmation
Once confirmed, your wallet address will be verified.
Note:
You have 90 minutes to complete the verification process
Delays on the network may affect confirmation time

What can I do after my wallet is verified?
Once your non-custodial wallet is verified, you’ll be able to freely transfer assets between it and your Crypto Wallet. Any pending deposits from your verified wallet address will also be automatically approved.
Why did my test transfer not go through?
A test transfer may not go through for several reasons. Below are common causes and how to resolve them:
Your wallet uses a different address for each transaction: Use a wallet that has a fixed sending address, or adjust your wallet settings to send from a specific address
The test amount is below your wallet's minimum transfer amount: Use a different wallet that allows smaller transfers
The wallet address does not match exactly: Copy and paste the address exactly as displayed
The 90-minute time limit has expired: Start the verification process only when you are ready to send immediately. If the time limit runs out, restart the process and send the test transfer again within the new window.
