Introduction

Instant Deposit allows you to deposit USD into your Cash Account via the ACH network, and access the funds immediately.

This feature can be used for trading stocks and ETFs via the Crypto.com App, subject to certain criteria.

Please visit our Help Center for more information on Instant Deposit and the Stocks feature. T&Cs apply.

Eligibility Criteria

Who is eligible to use Instant Deposit for trading stocks and ETFs?

Users who meet the eligibility criteria can use the Instant Deposit feature to fund stocks and ETF trading. The amount of Instant Deposit available for Stocks/ETF Trading is based on the eligibility criteria you meet. If you are trading with the Available Balance in your USD Cash Account or Stocks Cash Account, this limit does not apply.

The eligibility criteria for using Instant Deposit to fund Stocks trading is laid out below:

Additional Notes:

  • You must not have any cryptocurrency purchase chargebacks within the last 120 days, or any Instant Deposit returns within the last 90 days. If you do, you will not be eligible for a Stocks Trading Limit.

  • Your Eligible Stocks Trading Limit is refreshed daily. Any changes to your eligibility criteria will be reflected the following day.

  • Your Available Stocks Trading Limit is refreshed weekly on Sunday 00:00 UTC to your full Eligible Stocks Trading Limit.

To illustrate with an example:

You have an ongoing Cardholder CRO Lockup for an Indigo card. When you use Instant Deposit to fund your USD Cash Account, you have 80 days left on your lockup holding period.

  • If you deposit $1,000, you are eligible for a Stocks Trading Limit of $1,000.

  • If you deposit $800, you are still eligible for a Stocks Trading Limit of $1,000. However, you will only have $800 to use unless you deposit more funds.

  • If you deposit $1,200, you are eligible for a Stocks Trading Limit of $1,000. The additional $200 via Instant Deposit cannot be used for funding Stocks trading until full settlement of funds, but it can be used elsewhere in the Crypto.com App. For example, buying cryptocurrency.

How does the Stocks Trading Limit work?

Your Eligible Stocks Trading Limit is the maximum amount of Instant Deposit you can use for stocks and ETFs trading.

When you place a Buy order with Instant Deposit funds, your Stocks Trading Limit will be used. When you withdraw funds from your Stocks Cash Account to your USD Cash Account, the credited amount will recover your used Stocks Trading Limit.

How do I know if I have a Stocks Trading Limit?

When you place a buy order, on the order review screen, tap "How your Available USD is calculated”. There will be information on your Available Stocks Trading Limit, Used Stocks Trading Limit, and Eligible Stocks Trading Limit. Please note that the Available Balance in your USD Cash Account will not be displayed.

For example, you have an Eligible Stocks Trading Limit of $1000 and have used $300 of it. Your Available Stocks Trading Limit is now $700.

  • If you have an Instant Deposit of $2,000, only $700 can be used for Stocks trading.

  • If you have an Instant Deposit of $200, you can only use $200 for the trade unless you deposit $500 more to access your full Available Limit.

Common Questions

How do I set up Instant Deposit?

Visit our Help Center for more information on how to set up the Instant Deposit feature.

How does the Instant Deposit Limit differ for buying cryptocurrency and Stocks?

There are different Eligible Limits for buying cryptocurrency and Stocks. While you can use the full Instant Deposit amount received to trade cryptocurrency, you can only use a portion of it for Stocks trading.

It is also possible that you have successfully enabled Instant Deposit, but do not meet the eligibility criteria for using it to trade Stocks. In this case, you can still use Instant Deposit to trade cryptocurrency or derivatives.

What happens to my Stocks Trading Limit if I upgrade my Level Up tier?

Your Stocks Trading Limit will be updated the day after you upgrade your tier.

What happens when my Instant Deposit is settled?

When your Instant Deposit is settled and you have used some of your Stocks Trading Limit, the amount settled will offset the Used Limit.

What happens if my Instant Deposit settlement fails?

If your Instant Deposit settlement fails, you may have an Outstanding Balance that needs to be settled. If that’s the case, Crypto.com has the right to liquidate your assets across the Crypto.com platforms to settle that Outstanding Balance. Please visit our Help Center for more information on the Outstanding Balance for Instant Deposits.

An Instant Deposit settlement failure is considered a return. If your eligibility is subject to the additional risk criteria, this will result in you not meeting the criteria for having no Instant Deposit returns in the last 90 days. Please refer to the Eligibility Criteria above for more information.
