There are a few reasons why your transaction may not have been authorized. We listed below the most common ones:
The card is temporarily blocked in the Crypto.com App
The purchase was attempted using a method other than Credit (the card operates exclusively in this mode)
The purchase was attempted in installments (installment payments are not supported on a prepaid card)
Insufficient USD balance available at the time of the transaction
The merchant’s MCC (Merchant Category Code) is not supported under the card’s usage policy
Incorrect PIN entered during an in-store purchase
For online purchases: incorrect card details entered (card number, name, expiration date, or CVV)
