How do I add my Crypto.com Prepaid Card to Google Wallet?

From the Google Wallet app:

1. Open the Google Wallet app and select Payment Card

2. Scan your card or input the details manually

3. Confirm the card details and tap Continue

4. Read and accept the terms and conditions

5. Request SMS one-time password (OTP) and verify

6. Your card is added

From the Crypto.com App

Go to Card from the bottom navigation and tap Add to Google Pay

What if I did not receive my SMS OTP?

If you did not receive an SMS one-time password (OTP), please follow these steps:

  1. Call the hotline shown on the back of your Crypto.com Prepaid Card:

  2. A live agent will assist you with your digital wallet registration

  3. The agent will ask you to answer a brief series of questions to verify your identity as the cardholder

  4. Once your identity is confirmed, the agent will escalate your request to a customer service specialist for further assistance

  5. The agent will inform you that the verification process is complete, and you may terminate the call

  6. A confirmation SMS will be sent to your registered phone number within 48 hours

  7. If you do not receive the SMS, please contact our support team via the in-app chat

Can I add my card again after I have removed it from Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet?

Yes, you can add your card again to Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet.

Do I need to add my card to Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet again if my card has been reissued, replaced, or upgraded?

Yes, you will need to add your card again to Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet.

What if my physical card is lost or stolen?

You can block your card immediately in the Crypto.com App. Please contact us via the in-app chat to request a replacement.

I have blocked or frozen my card. Can I still use it on Google Pay or Samsung Pay?

No. Once your card is blocked or frozen, it cannot be used on Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Please note that it may take up to 10 minutes for the change to take effect.

Will I see Google Pay or Samsung Pay transactions in the Crypto.com App?

Yes, your latest transactions made through Google Pay or Samsung Pay will be shown in the app.

Will I get a notification in the Crypto.com App for declined transactions?

Yes, you will receive notifications for both declined and successful transactions.

What if I lose my Android device?

Use Android Device Manager to help you find, lock, or erase your phone. You can also search ‘Find my phone’ in Google, and your phone’s location will appear on a map. Then, contact us at chat.crypto.com to suspend your card.

What if I find my lost Android device?

Contact us at chat.crypto.com to remove the suspension from your card. You can resume using your card on Google Pay once the suspension is lifted.

I'm receiving the error message, ‘Double check your card details’ or ‘Your card couldn't be added’. What does this mean?

This error usually means your card is either closed or you have entered an incorrect CVV or expiry date.

How can I return or get a refund for items purchased using Google Pay?

  1. Bring the receipt and the item to the store.

  2. If the merchant asks you to swipe your card, hold the back of your phone to the contactless payment terminal. The merchant will inform you when to expect your refund.

For some returns, you may need to provide the last 4 digits of your virtual account number. You can find your virtual account number on the card details screen in your Google Pay app (this is not the same as your virtual card number).

How can I turn off notifications?

  1. In the Google Wallet app, tap (...) in the top-right corner of the screen

  2. Go to Settings > Notifications

  3. Toggle off the button next to Purchases
