How do I apply for a virtual card?
You can follow the steps here to apply for a virtual card. Once your application is completed and approved, your virtual card will be issued.
What's the difference between a virtual card and a physical card?
Virtual cards can be used for top-ups and online spending while you wait for your physical card to arrive. However, POS (point-of-sale) and ATM transactions are not supported with virtual cards; these transactions require a physical card.
How do I get my physical card?
Once your virtual card has been issued, you can proceed to request a physical card by following these steps:
Go to Card from the bottom navigation
Tap More > Settings
Tap Request Physical Card

After you confirm your shipping address, we will ship your card as soon as possible. You can track its shipment status from the Card tab. The estimated shipping times are as follows:

Does the virtual card require activation?
No, virtual cards do not require activation. You can use your virtual card instantly for online spending after topping up via the Crypto.com App. Card activation is only required for physical cards upon arrival.
How do I activate my physical Crypto.com Prepaid Card?
Virtual Crypto.com Prepaid Cards do not require activation; you only need to activate physical cards. Once you receive your physical Crypto.com Prepaid Card, follow these steps to activate it:
Go to Card from the bottom navigation
Tap More > Settings
Tap Request Physical Card > Activate Card
Complete identity verification
Create and enter your Card PIN
EU and UK-issued cards come with a preset PIN, which can be viewed under your Card Settings.
For EU-issued cards, the default PIN is 4 digits. You can personalize it at any Visa ATM.
For UK-issued cards, the default PIN is 6 digits and can be changed in your Card Settings.
Once your card is activated, simply fund it to start spending.
Where can I find my virtual card information?
Go to Card from the bottom navigation, then tap Details.
How does card upgrade work?
To upgrade your card, you need to upgrade to a new Level Up plan. Refer here for details on how to upgrade your plan.
How do I use Priority Pass™ with my virtual card?
You need to register a Priority Pass™ account and present your Digital Membership Card (displayed as a QR code) to access the lounges. Please follow the steps here for detailed instructions.
Do virtual cards expire?
Yes, virtual cards have an expiration date. You can view your card’s expiration date by going to Card from the bottom navigation, then tapping Details.
Why are my virtual card's CVV and expiry date different from my physical card?
Once your physical card is activated, the CVV and expiry date will sync.
Can virtual cards be added to Apple/Samsung/Google Pay?
US-issued virtual cards can be added to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay
Virtual cards from Australia, the EU, and Canada can be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay
Singapore-issued virtual cards can be added to Google Pay
Is there a fee to replace or upgrade a virtual card?
A fee may be charged if you request a physical version of the replacement card. Refer here for more information.
My virtual card was compromised. Can I get a new one?
Please reach out to us at chat.crypto.com for a replacement.
Why is the pop-up for my card details blank?
Close the pop-up window and try tapping Details again. It may take several attempts to successfully load the information if the network is unstable.
Also, ensure that your VPN is disabled and that your mobile device has a good network connection when attempting to view your virtual card information.
