What is Send?
Send is a feature in the Crypto.com App that allows you to make instant transfers. With Send, you can:
Move crypto and cash quickly and seamlessly: Send crypto worldwide, or cash within select regions, for free
Find friends easily: Sync your contacts or search globally to connect with others
Transfer to other Crypto.com users anytime: Access the feature directly from the Crypto.com App home screen
Who can use Send?
Crypto.com App users can access the Send feature. Please note that currency availability varies by jurisdiction.
What currencies are supported?
Send supports over 300 cryptocurrencies. The following fiat currencies are supported for domestic cash transfers:
BRL
CAD
EUR
GBP
USD (Select countries)
Cash transfers are not yet available in the following jurisdictions:
Australia (AUD)
Singapore (SGD, USD)
United Arab Emirates (AED, USD)
United States of America (USD)
In the United States:
Crypto transfers are not available in the following states: NY
How do I transfer crypto or cash with Send?
Follow these steps to transfer funds with Send:
Tap Send from the Crypto.com App home screen
Select your recipient (See the ‘How do I find recipients to send funds to?’ section for details)
Select the crypto or fiat currency you wish to send
Enter the amount you wish to send
Review and confirm the transfer
Your transfer will be processed instantly if the recipient is eligible. See ‘Why am I unable to send money or crypto to another Crypto.com App user?’ for more details.
You can also access the Send feature by:
Going to Pay > Send from the main menu
Tapping Send from your Cash Account
Going to your Crypto Wallet > Transfer > Withdraw > Withdraw to Crypto.com Users

Can I transfer to someone who isn’t a Crypto.com App user?
To transfer crypto to someone who isn’t yet a Crypto.com App user, simply invite them to sign up. They’ll receive the crypto after they’ve created their account.
Follow the steps below to invite them:
Tap Send from the Crypto.com App home screen
Search for or select a contact.
Select the crypto currency you wish to send
Enter the amount you wish to send
Review and confirm the transfer
Invite your recipient to sign up for the Crypto.com App by sharing your Referral Link
The transfer will remain pending for up to seven (7) days, giving the recipient time to sign up and claim it. If unclaimed within that time, the transfer will be cancelled and the funds returned to you. Depending on your jurisdiction, both you and the recipient may also receive a Referral Bonus.
How do I receive a transfer?
When another Crypto.com App user sends you cash or crypto, you’ll receive a notification and the funds will be credited to your Crypto Wallet or Cash Account instantly.
You can find the transfer details in your transaction history. To view your transaction history, tap the ‘clock’ icon on the top-right corner of the Send screen.
Can I receive funds if I am not a Crypto.com App user?
If you are not yet a Crypto.com App user, you can join using the referral link your friend shares with you to accept the transfer.
The transfer will remain pending for up to seven (7) days, giving you time to sign up and claim it. If you don't claim the transfer within that time, the funds will be returned to the sender.
How do I find recipients to send funds to?
There are several ways to find a recipient:
Sync your phone’s contacts to the Crypto.com App
Scan your recipient’s Crypto.com App Send QR code
Search for a recipient using their phone number or email address
Recipients can choose if they want to be discoverable in their privacy settings. See the ‘How do I change my privacy settings?’ section for details.
Find Send recipients by syncing your contacts
To find a recipient through synced contacts, please ensure the following:
You have the recipient saved in your phone contacts
You have synced your phone contacts in the Send feature. From the Crypto.com App home screen, tap Send > Sync contacts.
The recipient has Contact visibility enabled in their Crypto.com App privacy settings. See the ‘How do I change my privacy settings?’ section for details.
You have allowed the Crypto.com App to access your contacts in your phone’s privacy settings
Find Send recipients by QR code
Follow these steps to find and send funds to a recipient by scanning their QR code:
From the Crypto.com App home screen, tap Send
Tap the Scan icon in the search bar to open your QR scanner
Ask your recipient to tap My code on their Scan screen to display their QR code
Scan your recipient’s QR code using your QR scanner
Alternatively, you can tap Library to upload and scan a QR code sent by a friend
Find Send recipients by searching their email or phone number
From the Crypto.com App home screen, tap Send.
Enter the email address or phone number of the person you wish to send funds to in the search bar. If they are a Crypto.com App user, their profile will appear.
If the person is not a Crypto.com App user, tap Send anyway. Invite your recipient to sign up for the Crypto.com App by sharing your Referral Link If the funds are not claimed within seven (7) days, the pending Send transaction will expire and they will be returned back to you. See ‘Can I transfer to someone who isn’t a Crypto.com App user?’ for more details.
How do I change my privacy settings?
When you use Send, other Crypto.com App users can search for you using your email address or phone number. Phone contacts, who have synced theirs will be able to see you as a friend.
You can follow these steps to change your privacy settings:
From the main menu, tap Profile & Settings > Security & privacy > Privacy
Toggle the relevant settings on or off based on your preferences
How do I receive Pay Rewards with Send?
When you send CRO to your friends, you are entitled to receive Pay Rewards of up to US$5 in CRO every month.
You can earn up to 10% back in CRO if you fulfill one of the following:

What are the transfer limits?
The transfer limits are as follows:

Cash transfers have a minimum transfer limit of US$0.01 equivalent per transaction.
Please note that Pay Rewards (in CRO) will only be credited if the fiat equivalent is greater than US$0.01. Transfer limits are subject to change at our discretion.
Is there a fee to transfer crypto or cash?
No, there are no fees for using Send to transfer crypto or cash.
Why am I unable to send money to another Crypto.com App user?
If you are unable to make a transfer, please ensure that:
Your Crypto.com App account is fully verified (i.e., you have submitted all required documents)
You have a sufficient balance in your Crypto Wallet or Cash Account
You are not exceeding the maximum transfer limit
The recipient is a Crypto.com App user
The recipient’s Crypto.com App account is fully verified
The recipient has a Cash Account in the same currency you are sending (applicable for cash transfers only)*
*Transfers are subject to jurisdictional and regulatory restrictions. As a result, there may be instances where a transfer cannot be completed even if both parties’ accounts are verified, funded, and in the same currency (applicable for cash transfers only). Why was my transfer unsuccessful?
If you initiated a Send request but the funds or crypto have not been received:
Ensure that your recipient has access to their Crypto.com App account.
Check your transaction history to ensure the transaction is marked as Processed. In rare cases, the transaction might take longer than usual and will be labeled as Pending. To view your transaction history, tap the ‘clock’ icon on the top-right corner of the Send home screen.
If you did not receive a transfer that was sent to you, check with the sender to confirm that they used the correct phone number or email address.
What happens if I make a transfer to the wrong person?
Once a transfer is complete, we cannot cancel or reverse it. If you make a transfer to the wrong person, you will need to ask them to return the funds or crypto by contacting them using the email or phone number you used to send the payment.
Are Send transfers reversible?
No, crypto and cash Send transfers cannot be reversed. When a transfer is completed, it is final and funds are immediately sent to the recipient’s account. Crypto.com is unable to undo the transfer or recover the cash or crypto.
Always ensure that you have selected the correct recipient, verified their email or phone number (with the country code), and confirmed the contact details with them before making the transfer.

By initiating a Send transfer, you acknowledge and agree that the transaction is final, non-reversible, and non-refundable. Crypto.com is not liable for any loss of funds or crypto resulting from mistaken identity, incorrect recipient information, fraud, or unauthorised use of your account. Please verify all details carefully before confirming your transfer.
