Creating a Crypto.com Exchange Account With Your Apple ID

Updated this week

Follow these steps to create an account with your Apple ID:

  1. From the home screen, tap Log In/Sign Up > Sign Up > Continue with Apple

  2. A pop-up will appear, informing you that you are using your Apple ID to register

  3. Tap Share My Email or Hide My Email to proceed. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to confirm your choice.

  4. Complete the remaining steps to verify your phone number and Apple ID, and create your password

What is Hide My Email?

Hide My Email is an Apple iCloud+ feature that generates a unique, random email address when you register for an account. Emails sent to this address are automatically forwarded to your email inbox.

What are the pros and cons of using a generated email address?

Using a generated address provides added privacy as your personal email address is not shared.

However, our customer support team may need more time to verify your account ownership, which could delay assistance with matters such as trading support and account recovery.

To avoid delays, you can choose to turn off Hide My Email and register with your real email address.

How do I turn off Hide My Email?

  1. Go to your iPhone’s Settings > Profile > Sign in with Apple > Crypto.com Exchange

  2. Delete the linked account

  3. Return to the Crypto.com Exchange App and tap Sign Up > Continue with Apple > Share My Email

Note: The path to access the feature may vary depending on your iPhone’s operating system (OS) version.
