IRA Account Transfer

Updated this week

You can transfer your IRA account from another firm to Crypto.com IRAs. Currently, transfers of cash, stocks, and ETFs are supported and are facilitated through the industry-standard Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS), allowing for secure and seamless movement of assets between financial institutions. Transfers of crypto assets into your Crypto.com IRAs are not available yet, but this feature is coming soon.

To initiate a transfer, simply submit a request through the receiving firm, or from the Crypto.com App if you’re transferring assets out. Once your request is submitted, transfers typically take three to seven business days to complete.

How do I transfer stocks and ETFs out of my IRAs?

A $100 transfer fee will be charged when you transfer securities from your Crypto.com IRAs to another IRA. You can initiate a transfer through the receiving firm. Once your transfer request is approved, it will be processed within seven business days.

Important Notes:

  • You may choose to transfer your assets either fully or partially out of your IRAs. Your assets will be locked during the transfer process.
