Information about insurance related to EUR Cash Yield

Updated over a month ago

Funds held in your EUR Cash Yield account are not insured. EUR Cash Yield invests in money market funds, which are investment products and not bank deposits. As a result , your funds are not covered by the EU Deposit Guarantee Scheme or any other deposit guarantee or insurance scheme.

Unlike a deposit, an investment in an MMF may lose part or all of its value in adverse market conditions. Returns can vary based on the MMF's performance, where past performance doesn’t guarantee future results. Currency rate changes can negatively affect the returns you get back from your original investment.

While all investments carry some level of uncertainty, MMFs are classified as 1 out of 7 in terms of risk — the lowest possible risk indicator. Even though your investment is not protected by deposit insurance schemes, investments are insured up to €22,000 by the Cypriot Investment Compensation Fund. This gives you an extra layer of security in the unlikely event of the liquidation of Foris Capital CY Limited (formerly known as A.N. AllNew Investments Limited) and failure to protect your assets.
