Configure your device before establishing a connection:

  1. Install blockchain applications: Install the required apps (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana) on your Ledger device via Ledger Live

  2. Enable Blind Signing: Blind Signing is required to successfully approve and send funds

How do I connect a Ledger device to Onchain?

It is crucial to keep your Ledger device unlocked throughout the entire setup, as locking it may interrupt account discovery and require you to restart the process.

  1. In Onchain, tap Import wallet > Connect Ledger device

  2. Alternatively, tap the ‘profile’ icon > Wallet Management screen > Add new wallet > Import wallet > Connect Ledger device

  3. When prompted, grant Bluetooth permissions. Ensure your Ledger device is unlocked, and its Bluetooth is turned on.

  4. Tap Connect Ledger device, choose your Ledger model from the list, and tap Continue

  5. Select the networks you want to integrate (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana)

  6. When prompted, open the corresponding app on your Ledger device (e.g., Ethereum app)

  7. Tap Select Accounts, choose the specific addresses you want to manage in Onchain, and tap Continue to finish setup

Note: To access Cronos, open the Ethereum app on your Ledger device.

How do I authorise a transaction in Onchain?

  1. Ensure Blind Signing is enabled on your Ledger device

  2. In Onchain, initiate the transaction you want to perform (e.g., a token transfer)

  3. Keep your Ledger device unlocked and readily accessible

  4. Confirm the transaction in Onchain

  5. Tap Connect and wait briefly for Bluetooth pairing to complete

  6. When prompted, confirm the Bluetooth connection and open the correct app on your Ledger device (e.g., Ethereum app)

  7. Review the transaction details on your Ledger device's screen and approve the transaction using the physical buttons

Can I connect my Ledger Nano S via Bluetooth?

No. The device does not support Bluetooth and cannot connect to Crypto.com Onchain. Please use the Onchain browser extension instead.

Is a cable connection supported for the Ledger Nano S?

No. While some Android devices can connect to a Ledger Nano S via cable, Crypto.com Onchain does not currently support wired connections for any device.

What is the required minimum Ledger firmware version?

  • Nano X OS version 2.5.1

  • Flex OS version 1.4.1

  • Ledger Stax - OS Version 1.8.1
