Resolving Ledger Device Connectivity Issues in Crypto.com Onchain

Having difficulty connecting your Bluetooth-capable Ledger device (Nano X or Stax) to Crypto.com Onchain? Follow this checklist to fix pairing issues.

Before attempting to reconnect:

  1. Close and relaunch Onchain

  2. Make sure your Ledger device is unlocked, powered on, has Bluetooth enabled, and has set up with Secret Recovery Phrase.

  3. Confirm that Bluetooth is turned on in your phone settings and that Onchain has been granted the required Bluetooth permissions

  4. Close any other wallet apps on your phone that may be connecting to your Ledger device.

Check Firmware and App Versions

Make sure your devices and apps are updated to the latest version:

  1. Update the Ledger Live app on your desktop or mobile device

  2. Install the latest firmware on your Ledger device

  3. Update the relevant blockchain apps (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana) on your Ledger device

Check Your Security Settings

Ensure Blind Signing is turned on from the relevant blockchain app settings on your Ledger device.

Optimise the Connection Environment

Your Ledger device connects best when it is idle:

  1. Keep your device on its main home screen or dashboard

  2. Close any open blockchain apps (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana), then try pairing with Onchain

Reset Bluetooth Pairing

If the connection still fails after the steps above, try resetting your Bluetooth:

  1. Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, find your Ledger device, and tap Forget Device

  2. In Onchain, tap the user ‘profile icon in the upper-left corner of the home screen and select Add new wallet

Tap Import wallet > Connect Ledger device
