How do I connect my Crypto.com Onchain wallet to a dApp?

There are three ways to connect your Onchain to a dApp. Here’s how:

1. Via the Onchain's dApp browser

Step 1: From either your wallet’s discover page or assets page, tap on the browser bar. Launch the dApp you’d like to connect with by tapping on its icon or entering its URL in the search bar

Step 2: Within the dApp’s main menu, tap Connect or Connect Wallet. A pop-up similar to the one below will appear. Tap Connect to link your wallet to the dApp.

Step 3: Your wallet is successfully connected and you can now use it to transact in the dApp

2. By scanning a QR code

Step 1: From the Onchain's home screen, tap the Scan QR Code button and scan the QR code of the dApp you’d like to connect to

Step 2: A pop-up similar to the one below will appear. Tap Connect to link your wallet to the dApp.

Step 3: Your wallet is successfully connected and you can now use it to transact in the dApp. Close the pop-up below by pulling down on it or tapping anywhere outside it. You will not be disconnected from the dApp by doing this.

3. Via the Connected dApps page

Step 1: From the Onchain's home screen or Settings page, tap on the Connected dApps section

Step 2: On the Connected dApps screen, you can manage your dApp connections and link your wallet to new dApps by scanning their QR code

Step 3: Follow the steps above in ‘2. By scanning a QR code’ to link your wallet to a dApp

How do I disconnect my Onchain from a dApp?

If you wish to disconnect your Crypto.com Onchain from a dApp right after connecting to it by scanning its QR code, simply tap Disconnect in the pop-up below:

Alternatively, disconnecting your Onchain from a dApp takes just three quick steps:

Step 1: From the Onchain's home or Settings screen, tap on the Connected dApps section

Step 2: On the Connected dApps screen, you can disconnect your wallet from every dApp it’s linked to by tapping Disconnect All. Alternatively, you can disconnect your wallet from specific dApps by tapping the ‘unlink’ icon next to them.

Step 3: If you’re disconnecting individual dApps, review the connection details and tap Disconnect in the pop-up that appears after you tap on the ‘unlink’ icon.

What is the difference between the Via Onchain and Via Extension tabs?

There are two tabs on the Connected dApps screen: Via Onchain and Via Extension.

Via Onchain shows dApps that are connected directly to your wallet(s) using a QR code or the Onchain's in-app browser. You are accessing them via the Onchain's dApps page or through the in-app browser.

Via Extension shows dApps that are connected to your desktop browser via the Crypto.com Onchain Extension’s Bridge Mode. This mode allows you to sign in-dApp transactions on your Onchain app while you continue to access the dApp on your desktop browser.

What does the logo next to the dApp’s icon represent?

The four-squared logo at the bottom-right corner of a dApp’s icon indicates you are connected to it via the Onchain's in-app browser. If you are connected to a dApp via other methods, such as scanning a QR code or your mobile device’s web browser app, the icon will not have this four-squared logo.
