Introduction

Crypto Funding allows you to utilize your existing cryptocurrency balances in the Crypto.com App to fund Derivatives orders, including Strike and UpDown Options. This new funding option not only allows you to pay the remaining amount of your order with cryptocurrency when you don't have a sufficient USD balance to complete a trade, but it also enables you to fully fund a Derivatives order with your cryptocurrency. This provides you with greater flexibility when you’re trading in the App, along with an additional way to leverage your assets to grow your overall portfolio.

Supported Tokens

All tradeable 350+ tokens, including BTC, ETH, and CRO, in the Crypto.com App can also be used in Crypto Funding. Please ensure you carefully review the required token quantity and exchange rate presented on the trade screen before proceeding to place an order.

Eligibility

All existing users with USD Fiat Wallets in the US except Louisiana (LA) will have access to Crypto Funding.

Use Case Scenario & UIs

1. When your USD balance is sufficient to cover the full cost of your order, you won’t see the ‘Fund With Crypto’ toggle under the ‘Fiat (USD)’ tab.

2. When your USD balance cannot sufficiently cover the contract cost, you will see the ‘Fund With Crypto” toggle and be able to pay the remaining order amount with your preferred cryptocurrency.

3. When you switch to the ‘Crypto’ tab, you will be able to select your preferred cryptocurrency for order payment.

4. When you have an insufficient balance for the selected cryptocurrency, you will see the ‘Fund With USD’ toggle and be able to fund the remaining order amount with USD.

Order Processing Time

Crypto Funding is one of the immediate funding options. Once your order is submitted and accepted by the App, your order will usually be placed within seconds. However, this depends on the actual liquidity in the market at the time of your order placement.
