How to create and set up your non-custodial wallet

What is Crypto.com Onchain?

Crypto.com Onchain is a secure, non-custodial wallet that gives you full control of your digital assets, providing you with more ways to enjoy Web3 opportunities and seamless trading experiences.

How do I create my Onchain wallet?

  1. Download Crypto.com Onchain from the Apple App Store or Google Play

  2. Select Create a New Wallet or Import an Existing Wallet if you previously created an account

  3. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice

  4. Create your passcode, and enable the biometric verification if you wish to. Your wallet is now ready to use.

  5. Tap Edit on the Success page to rename your wallet or change your profile image

How do I back up my recovery phrase?

Your recovery phrase is essential for accessing your funds. To back up your key phrase:

  1. From the home screen, go to Settings > Recovery Phrase > To Google Drive

  2. Create a password to access your wallet if you have not done so

  3. Select the Google account you wish to back up to

  4. The Success screen appears when your key is backed up in your Google Drive

You can view your recovery phrase by going to Settings > Recovery Phrase > View Recovery Phrase.

Do I need a Crypto.com App account to use Crypto.com Onchain?

You do not need a Crypto.com App account to use Crypto.com Onchain, as the two are independent applications. But if you do have both, you can connect them and transfer funds seamlessly between the two.

Why is Crypto.com Onchain not available in the Apple App Store or Google Play?

Crypto.com Onchain is not available in certain regions. Please visit this page for a list of supported jurisdictions.

Why can’t I create a wallet on a jailbroken or rooted device?

Jailbroken or rooted devices pose a security risk to non-custodial wallets, potentially exposing your recovery phrase and data to malicious actors.

For this reason, you can only install Crypto.com Onchain on a standard mobile device.
