Is it safe to back up my wallet to iCloud/Google Drive?

When you back up your wallet to iCloud or Google Drive, the file is secured by three layers of protection: The password you create for it, SHA-256 hashing for your password, and AES-256-GCM encryption.

We do not store the password for your wallet’s backup file, nor do we have access to it. Store the password securely as you are fully responsible for your wallet’s backup file and the assets in it. Please ensure you can trust the security measures of your chosen cloud service, and we recommend that you set a strong password for your iCloud and/or Google Drive account.

Additionally, this backup method is completely optional. An alternative method to backing up your wallet would be writing its recovery phrase down and keeping the note in a secure location.
