How do I activate AED cash transfers?

AED cash transfers can be activated in either the Wallet or Bank Transfer pages in the Crypto.com Exchange.

Wallet

  1. Click Wallet in the left navigation panel and select Deposit in the AED row under the ‘Coin’ column

  2. Select Bank Transfer in the pop-up window that appears

  3. You will be directed to the Bank Transfer page. Select Activate in the AED row

  4. You may be prompted to read and accept the Terms and Conditions if you have not done so already

  5. AED cash transfers will be activated once you have accepted the Terms and Conditions

Bank Transfer

  1. Select Bank Transfer after clicking the top right Profile icon.

  2. Select Activate in the AED row

  3. You may be prompted to read and accept the Terms and Conditions if you have not done so already

  4. AED cash transfers will be activated once you have accepted the Terms and Conditions

Please contact your Account Manager if you are unable to activate AED cash transfers after completing the steps above, or encounter any difficulties during this process.

How do I deposit AED from my bank account to my Crypto.com Exchange account?

  1. After you have activated AED cash transfers, navigate to the Wallet page

  2. Click Deposit in the AED row under the ‘Coin’ column

  3. Select Bank Transfer and select Deposit in AED row

  4. Make an AED bank transfer from your bank portal to the account shown in the ‘Deposit Details’ pop-up window.

For seamless transfers, please ensure that your AED deposit is made from a bank account with a name that matches your Crypto.com Exchange entity name. Deposits with mismatched details may be rejected.

Is there a fee to deposit AED to the Crypto.com Exchange?

No, Crypto.com does not charge institutional clients a deposit fee.

Are there any deposit limits for AED?

No, there is no upper deposit limit for institutional clients. However, the minimum amount required per deposit is AED 10.

How long do AED deposits take to process?

AED deposits typically process within one business day. Your first deposit may take up to two business days to complete.

How do I withdraw AED to my bank account?

AED withdrawals will only be available after you have made a first deposit from your bank account. Please refer to the Deposits FAQ section above to learn more about making deposits.

  1. Click Withdraw in the AED row under the ‘Coin’ column

  2. Select Bank Transfer and select Withdraw in the AED row

  3. If you have not made a first deposit, you will be prompted to add a bank account by making a first deposit. If you already have a bank account added, you will be prompted to pick the bank account which you wish to withdraw your AED to.

  4. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw (Min.: AED 100; Max.: AED 40M daily)

  5. Click Review Withdrawal

  6. Verify and edit your bank details if needed

  7. Review and confirm your withdrawal request

Is there a withdrawal fee for AED?

There is a withdrawal fee of AED 10 for each withdrawal.

How long does it take to make a withdrawal?

AED withdrawals will be processed within one business day.

What are the withdrawal limits for AED?

The withdrawal limits for AED are as follows:

  1. Daily withdrawal limit: AED 40 million or 5 withdrawals a day

  2. Monthly withdrawal limit: AED 400 million or 30 withdrawals a month

  3. Minimum amount per withdrawal: AED 100

Which transfer network will be used (IPI/RTGS) for withdrawals?

For withdrawal amounts up to AED 50,000, the system uses IPI. For amounts above AED 50,000, it uses RTGS. The network is automatically selected.

General Questions and Tips

How many bank accounts can I link to my Crypto.com Exchange account for AED transfers?

Up to five bank accounts can be linked to your Exchange account for AED transfers. You will have to unlink one if you have reached your account limit and would like to add a new one. Pending accounts count towards your maximum account limit. However, rejected accounts do not.

How can I unlink a bank account?

Go to Bank Transfer via the left navigation panel to view your list of Verified, Pending, and Rejected bank accounts. You will see a Delete option next to the bank account. Click it to unlink that particular bank account.

What country is this feature available in?

AED cash transfers are only available to institutional clients onboarded under the Foris DAX ME FZE entity.
