What is Instant Deposit on Crypto.com Exchange?
Instant Deposit allows eligible U.S. retail users to deposit USD via ACH and receive immediate trading access on Crypto.com Exchange while the bank transfer settles in the background.
This means you can trade instantly, but your funds and any assets purchased with those funds will be subject to withdrawal restrictions until settlement is fully completed.
Standard ACH and wire transfers are initiated from your banking app, whereas Instant Deposit is initiated directly from the Crypto.com Exchange platform.

Can I withdraw funds from an Instant Deposit immediately?
No. Any value credited via Instant Deposit is restricted from withdrawal for 7 business days, regardless of whether it remains in USD or has been traded to crypto.
This means:
If you keep the funds in USD, you cannot withdraw that amount
If you buy crypto, the equivalent value in crypto is also restricted
For example:
You deposit $1,000 via Instant Deposit
You buy $1,000 of BTC
You cannot withdraw that $1,000 worth of BTC until the ACH settles
How long does settlement take?
ACH Instant Deposits typically take up to 7 business days to fully settle with your bank.
During this period:
You can trade using the deposited amount
You cannot withdraw the deposited value, in USD or crypto form, until settlement is complete
What happens if my ACH settlement fails?
If your bank rejects or reverses the transfer:
The deposited amount will be removed from your balance
If this results in a negative USD balance, Crypto.com Exchange will automatically liquidate your crypto assets to cover the shortfall
To avoid liquidation:
Ensure you have sufficient funds in your linked bank account before initiating deposits
Avoid trading with Instant Deposit funds if your bank balance is uncertain
Monitor your wallet for pending ACH settlements
Can I make new ACH deposits if I have a failed settlement?
You may only make new Instant Deposits if your displayed USD balance is not negative and you are not under an ACH restriction.
If you have had multiple failed ACH settlements within a short period, your ACH access may be temporarily restricted.
General Questions and Tips
Why did my bank send small deposits and then withdraw the same amount?
When linking your bank account, your bank may perform a micro-deposit verification to confirm account ownership. This usually involves sending two small deposits, followed by a single withdrawal for the combined amount of those deposits.
You can view these transactions in the Exchange platform:
Deposit amounts:
Navigate to Wallet > USD > Deposit > Bank Transfer > Transfer History
Withdrawal amount:
Navigate to Orders > Transactions
This process is a standard security measure required by some banks to ensure that the linked bank account belongs to you.
How many bank accounts can I link to my Crypto.com Exchange account for USD transfers?
A maximum of five bank accounts can be linked to your Exchange account. You will need to delete one if you have reached your limit and would like to add a new bank account. Pending accounts count toward your maximum account limit. However, rejected accounts do not.
How do I delete a linked bank account?
Go to Payment > Bank Accounts via the top right profile icon to view your list of Verified, Pending, and Rejected bank accounts. You will see a Delete option next to the bank account. Click it to unlink the bank account.
What should I do if my linked bank account has expired?
If your bank account linkage has expired, you will need to delete the existing bank account and link it again using Plaid.
To do this:
Go to Payment > Bank Accounts via the top right profile icon
Delete the expired bank account.
Click Add bank Account and link the same bank account by following the original linking steps via Plaid.
