Crypto.com offers an easy and convenient way for UAE residents to top up their AED Accounts by requesting money from their bank accounts via the Crypto.com App. To be able to deposit AED, you first need to set up your AED Account.
How to deposit with AED Pay By Bank?
Once you have set up your AED Account, you can select AED Pay by Bank on the “Choose deposit method” screen. To access this:
Tap the ‘Deposit’ button:
On the Crypto.com App, from the homescreen or your AED Account, tap Deposit
On the Crypto.com Website, from the homepage or Accounts page, , click on the Deposit button.
Select “Pay by Bank” in the Choose deposit method screen.
Select the “Add bank account” button and follow the instructions to link your bank account.
Select your linked bank account (your bank may require a cool off period before you can select it)
Input the amount you want to deposit.
Review your deposit details then select Confirm. Then follow the instructions to authorise the deposit from your linked bank account.
Your cash should be available in your AED Account within minutes.

Troubleshooting
There are a few things to remember when making an AED Pay by Bank:
Your Named Account: You can only connect with and deposit from bank accounts opened under your own name. 3rd party transfers will not be accepted (e.g. payments from your friends or family, customers, salary transferred by your employer, etc.)
We do not accept AED transfers via 3rd party payments processing companies (e.g. Western Union, Wise, Stripe), or crypto exchanges.
You have 30 minutes to approve an AED Pay by Bank from your bank app. The request will expire 30 minutes and you will need to create a new request
Common Issues: The most common reasons your bank transfer is on hold or is unsuccessful are:
The name on the bank account you transferred from does not match the name you used to register on Crypto.com
Your transferred funds came from a joint account
Your request has expired since it was not authorised within 30 minutes.
When contacting our support, please be ready to provide us with supporting documents (e.g. a bank statement) showing your full name, the bank account you made the transfer from, and ideally, the transaction itself.
What are the deposit limits and fees?
Daily limits are 24-hour rolling and monthly limits are 30-day rolling.
