If you lost access to your registered phone number and cannot log in to the Crypto.com App, you can update your number on the login screen.
Please note that the new phone number entered must have the same country code as your previous one.
If your account balance is below US$5,000, follow the steps below to update your phone number:
On the login screen, enter your email to complete email verification
Tap Didn’t receive a code? > Change Phone Number.
Complete passcode verification
4. Enter your new phone number and tap Continue
5. Input the SMS verification code sent to your new number
6. Continue to log in
If your account balance equals to or is more than US$5,000, you’ll need to go through the identity verification after tapping on “Didn’t receive a code? in Step (2) above. The rest of the process remains identical.
If you lost access to your registered phone number but are currently logged in to your account, you can follow the steps below to update your number.
Please note that the new phone number must have the same country code as your previous one.
Go to Settings from the main menu
Tap Account > Personal Information > Phone
Tap the ‘Edit’ button
Complete passcode verification
Open the phone number update email sent to your inbox and click the Confirm Now
Input the SMS verification code sent to your new phone number
