Whitelisting withdrawal addresses on the Crypto.com Exchange

Everything you need to know about whitelisting withdrawal addresses on the Crypto.com Exchange

Updated this week

Why do I need to whitelist withdrawal addresses?

Whitelisting protects your funds by only allowing transfers to approved wallets. Even if a malicious actor gains access to your account, they cannot withdraw your assets to a non-whitelisted address.

How do I whitelist a withdrawal address?

Follow these steps to whitelist a withdrawal address:

  1. From the home page, go to the ‘profile’ icon > Your profile > Wallet > Deposit & withdrawal > Withdrawal whitelist > Add withdrawal address

  2. Select one of the following options:

    1. Standard: An address dedicated to a single token

    2. Universal: An address used for multiple tokens of the same standard

  3. Set the fields based on your selection:

    1. Standard: Select options under Coin and Network

    2. Universal: Select an option under Network only

  4. Fill in the rest of the fields:

    1. Address: The wallet address you wish to whitelist

    2. Wallet source: The platform where the wallet originates from

    3. Label: The name you wish to give your wallet

  5. To add multiple addresses, click More addresses and complete the fields for each of them

  6. Click Proceed when you are done

  7. Enter your One-Time Password (OTP) and 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) code when prompted, then click Confirm to complete the whitelisting process

Note:

  • If 24-Hour Withdrawal Lock is enabled, you will only be able to transfer funds to the whitelisted address after the waiting period.
