What are the new banking details?

US users have been assigned new banking details for sending USD via ACH, wire transfer, and early direct deposits (payroll) to their Crypto.com App account. You are required to use the updated information from now onwards.

To view your new banking details, go to Fiat Wallet > Transfer > Deposit > United States Dollar > ACH or Wire Transfer. The information starts with either 863 or 882.

Important Note: Banking details are unique to each user, so only use the information shown in your Crypto.com App account.

How is it relevant to me?

If you have used or intend to use ACH, wire transfer, or early direct deposit (payroll) to fund your USD Fiat Wallet in the Crypto.com App, you must update/use this new set of banking details accordingly. This change is irrelevant if you only use your credit/debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay to buy cryptocurrency.

Why was this change required?

In January 2023, our previous banking service provider, Metropolitan Commercial Bank (MCB), announced that it would exit the cryptocurrency market. As a result, we are now working with Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB) to offer USD fiat services to our users.

How do I view the new banking details?

To view your new banking details, go to Fiat Wallet > Transfer > Deposit > United States Dollar > ACH or Wire Transfer. The information starts with either 863 or 882.

Important Note: Banking details are unique to each user, so only use the information shown in your Crypto.com App account.

How do I update my banking details?

Follow the simple steps below to update your banking details:

  1. Access your unique banking details from your Crypto.com App account

    1. ACH: Fiat Wallet > Transfer > Deposit > United States Dollar > ACH

    2. Wire Transfer: Fiat Wallet > Transfer > Deposit > United States Dollar > Wire Transfer

  2. Log in to your online banking portal

  3. Add a new payee using the details retrieved from Step (1). The routing number is 026073150, starting with either 863********* or 882********.

  4. We strongly recommend deleting the payee you had previously set up using the old banking details if applicable. The previous routing number was 026014902, and the bank account starts with 6262********.

Important Notes:

  • ACH: Most banks use microdeposits to ensure you have typed the bank details correctly. The bank will send two small transactions, which you will see in your USD Fiat Wallet Transaction History within approximately 1 to 2 days (possibly longer) after initiating your deposit. Input those amounts in your banking portal to link your bank account to your USD Fiat Wallet. After that, you can make ACH deposits to your Crypto.com App account.

  • Wire Transfer: Make sure you have input the new banking details correctly, and remember to double-check the information again on the confirmation page.

Do I have to make this change?

From now onwards, you may only use the new banking details to deposit USD to your Fiat Wallet. Deposits made using the old banking details will be returned to you.

My bank is asking me for a CFSB login and password. What should I do?

You may have opted for the auto-link option on your banking portal. Instead, please choose the manual option to add payee information, and input the routing and bank account number accordingly.

Can I ask my friends to send USD using my banking details?

No, we can only process deposits from bank accounts owned by you. All deposits sent by third parties will be returned.

Why are the banking details for ACH and wire transfer the same?

With our new banking partner, we were able to streamline the process and allow you to make ACH and wire transfers using the same details.

Is there a reference that I should put for wire transfers?

No, a reference is no longer needed.

What happens if I accidentally make a deposit using the old bank details?

Deposits made using the old banking details will be returned to you in the normal course.
