For security reasons, you are required to complete identity verification steps based on your account balance when resetting your passcode.
Resetting your passcode during login
Please follow these steps to do so:
If you have forgotten your passcode and cannot log in to the Crypto.com App, please follow these steps:
On the passcode screen at login, tap Forgot passcode?
If your account balance is below US$1,000:
Under the mobile verification code field, tap Send
Enter the SMS verification code sent to your mobile
Input your date of birth
Tap Continue
Note: If you are having trouble with the steps above, you may tap Change Verification Method at the bottom of the screen to verify your identity another way.
If your account balance exceeds US$1,000:
e. A pop-up will appear, notifying you that you are required to verify your identity to reset your passcode. Tap OK.
f. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity
2. Open the passcode reset email sent to your inbox and tap the Log In Now button
3. Set a new passcode and confirm it
Resetting your passcode when you’re logged in
If you are logged in and have forgotten your passcode or would like to change it, please follow these steps:
On the passcode input screen, tap Forgot passcode?
Follow the instructions outlined in ‘Resetting your passcode during login’ from step (2)
Alternatively, you can change your passcode in Settings:
Go to Settings > Security > Change Passcode
Enter your current passcode
Enter your new passcode and confirm it
